Bloom Card: Spellbinders Nestabilities

This card is 5.5 by 5.5 from Kraft card stock. The Spellbinders Nestabilities Blossom was cut and embossed in my Cuttlebug. The leaves are cuttlebug dies. Some of the flowers were corrugated using the Fiskars Crimper tool.  The card was then sewn on the machine with green thread.  The stamp and flower was embellished with dots using my Sharpie white paint pen.  Three little "skittles" were added for balance.

Tim Holtz Card for a Guy!

Hi again!  This is a card I made for my son.  The card is from Kraft Cardstock and torn on the right border.  I used Core'dinations cardstock from Joann's.  This is fun to use with embossing folders!  I used the brown and blue combo.  It was embossed using my Cuttlebug and the Tim Holtz Patchwork embossing folder (Michael's).  After embossing I sanded it with my sanding block until the blue showed through. I embossed another one and cut a strip for the base of the card.  I stamped the word Journey and tore it for a base for the man to stand on.  The Time Holtz stamp was stamped in black and embossed with a mix of black and copper.  The phrase stamp was embossed in black and then cut into word blocks. The man and words are popped up with dimensional foam tape.  The distress inking around the edges and the blue embossed piece is Walnut Stain.

NAPA Word Board Book

N-A-P-A equals FUN!  This is a word album I made for my friend's birthday in memory of our Girl's trip to Napa last month.  I have made other word albums for gifts.  I'll have to dig up the pictures and post them.  I used the Cricut Expression and my Gypsy to design the book.  I printed out 4X6 and wallet size photos for the album.  There are lots of embellishments and memorabilia, including our Wine Train tickets and a sawed in half cork.  This was a fun project.  I hope she loves it!

Welcome to my Blog! Cricut Imagine Card

I'm excited to start posting my creations to share with my friends.  Yeah!  I'll start with what I made today...

I just received my Cricut Imagine this month from HSN.  This is my first project!  It is from the Imagine More Card Cartridge and I even flood filled "Happy Birthday" from A Child's Year for the inside sentiment. The little gift bag is from the same cartridge.  I will give this to my friend at work with some See's candy for her birthday!

I learned how to use the Imagine from some other bloggers including:
